While doing a fun and informative interview with RED HILL writer/director Patrick Hughes along with lead actor Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), I wanted to find an interesting way to get into talking about the casting of Steve Bisley. So I asked them ‘why is it that Australian actors get to a certain age and then all look like Colonel Sanders?’
Patrick laughed so hard, he took a few moments to recover. When he did answer, he said he got most of the cast to grow full beards so the makeup department could shape them into character beards for filming.
